And The Winner is....

We got votes!

Cute Ree won out over Pixar Ree hands down. Not that Pixar Ree isn't cute, but he looks more cartoonish - and will be featured in other things.

But for the picture that accompanies the Blog, it's Ree the Cute. It's him, to a T. 

I'm not a big proponent of AI, being a Luddite and all (happy to tell you any time about how I went kicking and screaming into the world of Windows - and I was in PC tech support, so you can imagine how that went over). Now, some Luddite's shun all technology. I'm one of those people who are resistant to change. My best friend is what's called an early adopter. Not me, man. I want to make sure I still have two arms and two legs (as opposed to fifteen of each) before I'll upgrade my technology. So I have a smart phone, and I have pretty much Apple everything, after spending years supporting all the other technologies out there. I don't want to think that hard any more.

So when my friend BB told me she was playing around with AI and asked if I wanted anything, I said "Sure! Figure out a new picture for Ree's blog." She's definitely an early adopter - and this self-proclaimed Luddite figured if she wanted to do, I'd reap the benefit. Happy to pay for someone else to do it for me!

This is also a pic she came up with - Ree the adventurer, which is hilarious because he's the one who hides under the bed at the slightest strange noise. He's been spending a lot of time there, poor guy. Everything at our new digs is strange noises and bumps in the night.

Notice he DOES have his paws firmly on the support bar, as opposed to the goof balls behind him.

BB came up all the suits in a card deck and had fun doing it, while I would have been hurtling naughty words and spells at my computer trying to get it to work. Win Win.

On another note, the tone of the blog is going to change (OMG!). Ree will be contributing rather than only hosting. He's got a voice and a unique perspective on life - we're encouraging him to use his gifts. Let me know if it's enjoyable.
